McIntyre was born when founders Ned & Raquel were looking for a new merino sweater that matched their personal styles. When they couldn't find anything on the market, they laid down the plans for a quality, colourful, & accessible knitwear brand. McIntyre was born!

The pair had just spent a year living and working on Ned's family's sheep farm. The farming life wasn't for them, but a love of merino wool was now firmly entrenched in the pair.

 All McIntyre products are made with Australian Merino wool. We LOVE wool because of its natural properties, and honestly believe that once you start wearing it you will never go back to synthetic fibres.
